Going the traditional route

At this point, really consider us professional wedding-goers! There’s nothing more we like than dolling up in our season’s finest and twirling away in the twirliest lehengas. Cupboards and wardrobes overflowing with lehengas with can-cans poofing out, blouses hung with latkans everywhere or just the heaps of dupattas we so adore. Everything about Indianwear has our hearts and there’s nothing more we absolutely love! There’s always a way to update your look with Indian attire.

When it comes to dressing up, we love the versatility and experimental space that the style allows us. There are so many ways to play with it when you’re up for some fun. Put a twist to it with a cool dupatta draping style or just mix and match two different colours with a common design/embroidery style. More often than not, you’ll find us always mixing up style from 2 to 3 different sets to create a whole new look. It gets our creative juices flowing and needless to say, gives us a great outfit and look for the occasion! That also means playing with pieces that are not your traditionally conforming silhouettes. Pick a shirt, a jacket or a blazer to really offset your look in a cool way. Maybe a turtleneck with a heavy polki haar is your style or you can always try pairing up a blazer and belt look with your sarees or lehengas.

With Indianwear, the options really are endless and there’s so much to discover and create! Experimenting with styles is the best way to go about it to find unexpected yet wowing combinations that are as cool as they may be traditional. Put your expression and inject some of ‘you’ into your look. If nothing else, being you - that ALWAYS works!
