Classic staples are so for a reason. Denims are undoubtedly our pick of the lot and we love being in them. The comfort and fit of the perfect denim is unparalleled and it comes as no surprise the kind of wonders that can be achieved with that one perfect pair.
Imagine it like being in your second skin. Adaptable, malleable and totally wholesome. Nothing makes you feel cozier or invincible like a go-to pair of good ol’ jeans. Two feelings on the opposite ends of a spectrum. That’s what is exactly so enticing about this classic. Its versatility knows no end and its contrasting feel is what makes it feel so right. With the onset of new denim trends and creative details, styles and silhouettes emerging each season with this adaptable fabric, it’s surely a treat to any denim lover.
Our love for it, made us take a different route with ONLY India’s new collection. With styles and looks that are beyond aesthetically pleasing and immensely comfortable to be in, the collection offers a line that promises details, the right fit, versatility and a whole lot of chic. Just like denim should be.
Emulating the concept, we styled ourselves just so. Hemal plays on femininity and lengths with a lace top and denim button down skirt. The look is girly enough and adds a hint of that cool girl vibe. The addition of the achromatic Adidas sneakers and oversized denim shirt defines just that!
While Hemal does tough girl cool, Urmi plays chic. Sporting a striped blouson, she layers atop a denim shirt with distressed details. We love the placement of the rip which adds a bit of an unusual yet striking statement look to the otherwise traditional piece. Pairing the ensemble up with classic shorts, the sleeve length mismatch adds a creative styling spin to an otherwise expected layering.
It’s fantastic how denim pieces can completely transform your looks and make outfits chicer than expected by just a little bit of length play and styling experiments. But then again, it’s those denim dynamics at play again!
